She earned her RGN qualification in 1995 in Den Haag and has amassed 27 years of experience in various nursing roles, spanning clinical practice, nursing management, and education. She holds a Bachelor’s in Nursing Studies from Dublin City University (1999), a Higher Diploma in Haematological Nursing from Trinity College Dublin (2001), and a Master’s of Science in Nursing Education from University College Dublin (2002). In 2020, she completed her PhD at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and her work has been widely disseminated. Since 2014, she has been involved in higher education at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, boasting extensive teaching experience and a strong research background. With well-developed communication, leadership, organizational, and management skills, she is dedicated to imparting her acquired skills and expertise to aspiring nurses, nurturing safe, competent, and reflective practitioners.
