Mirna Žulec

Mirna Žulec is currently an assistant professor at the Catholic University of Croatia (2021 – present). She has also worked as a professor of nursing at the Nursing Department of the Polytechnic of Bjelovar (2010-2022), as well as a lecturer at the University of Sjever, Nursing Department (2011-2013). In addition to her academic roles, she is the director and founder of the Maria Polyclinic, a specialized outpatient clinic focused on hyperbaric and wound care (2013 – present). She received her PhD from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana, where she focused her doctoral research on wound care (2014-2020). She also received her Master’s degree in Nursing Management from the Faculty of Health Studies, University of Rijeka (2017-2018). Her work reflects a deep commitment to clinical practice and nursing education, with a focus on evidence-based care and professional development. She is a member of several professional societies, including the Croatian Chamber of Nurses, where she is a member of the Ethics Committee, the European Wound Care Association, the Croatian Wound Care Association, and the International Honorary Society of Nurses Sigma Theta Tau.
