Chair of Scientific Committee
Dr Peter Worsley is an Associate Professor within Health Sciences at the University of Southampton. He is a qualified physiotherapist with a PhD in Bioengineering. In 2012 he joined a new Skin Health Research group within Health Sciences, where he is responsible for the efficient functioning of state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and supervising student researchers and clinical academics from the UK and overseas. He has developed an international reputation in the field of pressure ulcer prevention, becoming a trustee of the EPUAP and a member of the editorial board of Journal of Tissue Viability. He is also a member of the International Organization for Standardisation for support surface testing (ISO/TC 173/WG11).
